Net Force
The net force is the overall force acting on an object after all the forces are combined.
When you dunk the ball it is the net force because all of the forces are acting when you dunk a ball. |
Balanced
A balanced force is when the forces on the object are balanced and the net force is zero, so there would be no change in motion.
Shooting a free throw is a balanced force because you are standing and shooting, so no outside force are acting on you. |
Unbalanced
An unbalanced force acts on an object, the object accelerates.
When shooting a jump shot in basketball it is an unbalanced force because you are moving the ball the direction of the basket. |
